Fraud Pretending to be HSBC. Knows name of recipient and informs them £600 is being transferred from your account overseas. Caller then tries to obtain your telephone banking security number by asking for the first "four" digits. This is followed by them saying it's not correct and wanting the last four digits. They then have your name, telephone number and security number and can empty your bank account

This company keep phoning me asking for a Duncan Cruickshanks who I believe used to own my telephone number. Tonight they tried ending the call with silence but usually they are abusive, or just ask for the person who pays the household bills. My number is ex-directory & registered with TPS, makes no difference to these people though.

Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

Sitting at home, ill after being sent home from work, I receive a call from these clowns. Starts babbling on about how they can reduce my "debt" by 70% before I d even had the time to draw breath. I told the little gimp that I was registered with the TPS, he replied "I ll just check that". I replied "no need to check little boy I m telling you and I m also telling you to not call me again otherwise I ll report you". Parasitic nuisances how I wish I could send 50,000 volts down the receiver.
