However, I did call them and simply went to classical music. No "you are in a queue" or anything else. It's genuine, but always call the bank directly!! 08453510271 and 08453510193 are automated calls from Halifax. They say your full name, and confirm if you have carried out the transactions specified, and ask for date of birth, if you did not carry out the transactions your call will be forwarded.
