Can't understand why the telephone network can't trace the calls that pretend to be this number and get the crooks. If the calls are foreign, then why cant the "number" be blocked outright? The crooks would have to change the false number but in a few days they could be blocked again, when enough people report them. deeply annoying.

This phone number (01202403707) is from a representative (Timothy Davis) of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.
