Silent call

This number called me twice in San Francisco. Fortunately I wasn't there to answer.

Unsolicited call asking me to press 2 regarding my solar panels. Just one of numerous spam calls we receive.

All the calls from "TalkTalk", "BT", "Openreach", "Microsoft" ,etc., are SCAMS. Don’t talk to these people!

Can?t be trusted in my opinion. My family has nothing to do with and no connection what so ever with London, England where this number comes from. This number from England, called my under aged childs phone number. I would not recommend anyone to answer.

This individual chose to ring my house number asking for a club. The number was a business number previously but we haven t had nuisance calls on this scale before. After I told the guy he had the wrong number and to please remove it from his phone, he proceeded to ask if there were any girls available and said I sounded like a prostitute, as he had "lots of experience". Oriental sounding woman called who had my full name, telling me that the UK pension rules had changed and that the call was from the Government to advise me on those changes. Asked about what kind of pensions I had. At that point I politely ended the call. seemed to be a fact finding call about me for nefarious reasons. If I want pension advice I can speak to a qualified advisor or look at a website. Sounded as if the call was scripted as she couldn t / wouldn t answer my questions.

Nuisance caller. When told that we are not interested and don t want them to call again the response from Nicole was "tell the decision maker to ring me to tell me that. We can t accept that instruction from anyone else". When advised that the decision maker has no intention of speaking to them, they "threaten" to call again in 2 weeks time if they haven t heard from us. They don t accept that anyone has a right not to take their call.

Answered call, heard nothing for several seconds despite saying hello? a few times. Then a very brief fax like noise before cutting off.

Selling Burglar alarms/security systems. When I said I already had one, she asked if it was monitored. English sounding lady. No idea if legit. Told her I was quite happy with what we had, and she politely ended the call.

Accident claim nuisance call. I wouldn't mind (quite) so much if they at least apologised when you tell them you didn't have an accident rather than hanging up
