Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They called me several times. The first time I picked it up there was noone speaking and after 5 second they hung up. The second time I just heard an automated message saying the office was already closed and geve time options to call back. this was strange from the beginning. They are AG Legal calling about a car accident they claim I?ve had. Of course I had no car accident. They told me something about money they have for me.. Please, stop it. This number calls most days, and say they have heard from the advice bureau that someone at this address has had an accident in the last two years. This is not correct so I say definitely not and put the phone down.
