called this morning to say that £500 had been removed from my Visa account . Had this call a few times before.

Caller purported to be from BT and was about to close my Internet connection - I m not with BT so became suspicious. I put the phone down but similar calls have requested money to stop the internet being disconnected.

The new scam is they only want you to say YES they then record the questions and add the YES that you said to produce the questionair .

Don't know this number but keeps calling

I have just been called by this lot tonight and offered a ?2000 rebate as I d paid my council tax on time for several years!!! She asked how I d like to recieve my money and I asked for a cheque which I knew would be legit if she did but she asked me to ring the number and talk to her boss but it had to be immediate. I didnt ring back.

Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume

Very aggressive attempt to interest me in IVA arrangements. They say they are calling everyone over 18. I said that must be about 40 million people, and how do they know I m over 18. I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.
