Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. It is my BB provider and they ask me 2 charaters out of the security question I set up with them and my surname for data protection before discussing my account. I must say the person I spoke to was friendly and actually gave me a discount on my current deal, did not try n sell me more stuff which was good.

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

Didn't answer the phone to the call but have read very bad comments about this number and should not be able to call us.

Just put a brand spanking new SIM in my phone and a few hours later I get a call from Bolton. I didn t answer but so far they ve called me almost every day, usually after 11am (I work nights so not happy).

This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...

Fake HMRC scam number. Automated message saying there's an arrest warrant out for me, press 1 to speak to someone. Asked for my name, told them it's "Go f*ck yourself", and got called a Motherf**ker in return. Fake, do not worry, it is NOT hmrc.

I had placed an ad on gumtree selling a pram . The above person txt me from ?+44 141 280 7229? and ?+44 114 359 9246? saying they wanted to buy the pram and for me to email them on [email?protected] I did then they said they had cancer and that would be sending an agent for the pram once they had paid me via PayPal. I got suspicious and then found out this is a scam

This number rings me nearly every day. I ignore it as I don't recognize it.

Very rude woman called. Initially all polite "I m calling from "Eco" - (something I could not hear) - "how are you today"? When I said suspicious of calls like this, she turned nasty - "you re not much of a man if you are scared of a cold call". Beware. Probably scammers.
