They get the telephone numbers from the charity commission website.

Just another scam artist...left to ring out they left no message...must have been an automated call.

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. another annoying call from number I don t recognise, so I don t answer. I get at least 3 calls per day from numbers I don t know. I have a way of blocking these calls, ( which I have had to pay for)but as soon as I do that, another one pops up. I would be very happy to know that "somebody" out there is working to deal with this.I know from reading comments and talking to friends that just about everyone is affected, and that I m not the only person to be maddened by these calls.

Automatic call didn't leave a message on answer machine

Clear English accent. Told me that I had been spying on his wife and taking pictures of her and that he variuosly intended to fill me in and report me to the police. I have a feeling that it was an automated voice response system as I stopped speaking a couple of times and after a pause the voice came back witht he same phrase trying to find out if I was still there.

I just get rang about 15 times a day and nobody even speaks ..... Even leaves me voicemail of silence !!!!

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive.
