called me pretending to be British Gas asking for personal details in regards to a bill. I m not a british gas customer and never have been.

Had a series of different calls from Staines number with 512 prefix - PPI ambulance chasing and supposed debt recovery. some call centre attempting any scam to get your details. Have asked to be removed numerous times only to be advised my number is in the autodialer

Constant calls a few times a day, hangs up immediately !!!

Have had 4 phone calls this morning. 3 went dead when picked up. 1 was answer machine message about subscription to amazon and asked me to press 1 to cancel and 2 to discuss options. I put the phone down. Has anyone else had these calls?

Asked for someone by name who doesn't live here. Weirdly, the name had same initials as me? They then said they'd remove my number from their mailing list...

The person ringing from this number just hangs up..they dont speak at all

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Just answered a call from this number and was told they were looking to speak to S MacDonald which is myself. They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. Girl was rude and very blunt on the with her responses. I will not confirm any details unless I know who is calling but she refused to disclose that to me. Hung up

This call was made from near Trafalgar Square London.Said my washing machine insurance for Beko washing machine had run out.And wanted me to renew it. Don t have a Beko washing machine.

Was told the caller was a surveyor and that he was checking about our loft insulation. He seemed to have had access to the time we had it done and also our address. He asked when it was done and was it part of the Government scheme as there was a problem with fibreglass. The line then went dead, but the call was still active as I could see the raised phone sign on my handset Very strange and also very worrying! Didn t give any further info info and hung up as soon as I realised.
