Sales call / this is a call from SD of Verkada Limited - a tech company selling security cameras etc. It will likely be related to an email whereby it is suggested he will be "in your area" next week. Of course he doesn't know where you are and in the absence of matter-transportation will not be there. It's an unsolicited sales call and not very clever. Best avoid firms like this where they start with a lie.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. It is an automatic voice that claims to be from "your bank" saying it has suspicious activity - asking you to click a button to verify or speak to someone. I hung up. SCAM tried asking for my passcode saying they were NatWest bank and was I trying to send someone £600 into a western union account I said no and they started asking for my passcode I no the bank don’t ask for this information so I hung up and reported it to my bank and they confirmed it’s a scam no money was taken

Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.

Russian sounding chap called from 02081871316, didn't give a compnay name, but said in a clunky manner that I'd bought bitcoin as "another company", it's been stolen but they can help me get it back. I'm concerned that they might scam someone if they get more slick at the script.
