I received a call from this number claiming to be calling from a company (don t remember the name of the company) and is calling in relation to an enquiry that I had made online and asked me to confirm DOB and my address for security purposes. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

I changed my phone number last week so I don t know where they took my number, it s weird! they called me twice, first time nobody spoke and then they called again and it was about debt collector. Unwanted calls!
