09 Dec 2021 - Has called 3 days in a row, not sure if its robotic or a person but after I say hello there is silence and they put the phone down. I suspect they are testing numbers to see who answers then possibly sell this data on to other spam callers. Don't bother answering, block number if you can. Reply

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Received a text message from `Lloyd's` saying my phone had been paired with another device and to click on a link if it was not authorised. I did NOT click on the link, and deleted the message.
They claim to be from Microsoft Reading Headquarters. They claim that you have several viruses and they will fix them by asking you for access to your computer. A complete scam and fraud.

Company apparently called Quigley & Carter using various mobile numbers to send spam texts. Today s text said "The Banks are refunding customers up to 2000 who have paid a monthly fee on packaged accounts, visit www.mybankrefund.com for your refund today or optout.cc" The website mybankrefund.com apparently belongs to Quigley & Carter and has the following text at the bottom of their website: Quigley & Carter Limited a company registered in England and Wales. Cancelled a subscription last week. They tried to dissuade me but in the end accepted i was resolute in my decision. They called today as i found out from googling the number. As soon as i answered the call was ended. Unsure what reason they would have to be phoning me a week after i have cancelled my subscription.
