Call every day for a week, I answered once as expecting important call, said survey company. Hung up but still ring every day.

Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! These guys tricked my 89 year old mother with dementia into buying their "services" on 12 August 2016. I only found out when they called again six days later and spoke to me by mistake. An Indian-sounding "customer service executive" calling himself Patrick refused to cancel the contract or to recognise the statutory cooling-off period. Had a call from this number where he had all of my details, name, number and full address. When I questioned him on how he obtained all my details considering I had never heard of them he said it was in their database. Constantly telling me he just wanted 50 seconds of my time I asked him to remove all my details from the system but he started getting shirty with me an adopted a bad attitude.

Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. I realised this was a scam and pressed him for details - asking him: Computer licensing Department of what? His answers were vague but his final bid was words to the effect of this: Do you want t

Very rude and pushy. Saying no thanks seems to enrage them further. Quote the telephone preference service and they ll soon back off.

Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.

This guy has contacted me on several occasions. Whenever I advertise something locally, he texts saying,"Hi how are you?x" and tries to make out he s been given your number by mistake. He pesters to see you, but apparently he is targeting local women selling things with the intention of meeting them for sex. He gets really abusive and nasty when you refuse. Go the a web sight called, Who Calls Me, and put in his number. It will scare the hell out of you.
