recently set up a website with 1&1, this number calls me at least once a day now. blocked.

Simplest way to deal with these annoying people. If the number isn t in my contacts, I don t answer the call. If they really want to speak to me, they ll leave a message.

Used local school names in an attempt to make me believe we had helped them with our sponsorship of some internet safety programme, offered me a £20 discount if I paid up today, bringing it to just £129!! I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.
