Silence when I answered so I hung up! Didn t recognise the phone number!

These are the same people who used to call up pretending to be Talk Talk and say that your computer has a virus etc. This time they didn t mention Talk Talk, but the name above. I said I didn t deal with them and they said it was because I used Windows. I said that they weren t Microsoft. They have foreign/asian accents. I have only received calls like this since Talk Talk was hacked. I blocked them with Call Blocker, but they seem to call back using a multitude of numbers.

Internet scam call. Just hang up.

frequently calls me, only way they could have got my number is from the jobcentre website (universal jobsearch). this number is not an emplyer and tries to sell me stuff

Answered phone, said "Hello" Nothing for 20 seconds, said "Hello" again. Nothing for 10 seconds, said "Some silly bast*rd winding me up". He spoke then, but I didn t hear as I was hanging up. I don t block them, I store the name under Spam and let them run their bill up.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? This person or company have rung me several times this week on my mobile phone without leaving an answer machine message when prompted. I ve searched via google for their company name and address and nothing comes up from the search!

Yet again a call telling me I am entitled to a new boiler. Government backed, it claims. Nonsense. I am ex-directory and these people whoever they are cannot possibly have my number legitimately.

Tracing who called me

Real dodgy call, trying to give impression of a law enforcement of traders and wanted payment on a list they compile saying you are trusted while suggestions anyone not on it will be branded as a bad trade. Expression they used was before we start naming and shaming.
