Insurance for less!!... Didn't ask for any inconvenience but blocked now!

Call numerous times daily no one ever speaks until you do. They never say who they are they just keep asking for me to confirm my name. I now just answer phone by saying Hello you have reached battersea dogs home Jack Russell speaking occasionally Al Satian answers too. They put phone down.

Same scam as reported above - that my internet connection had been hacked by a site in California, Jenny, from BT, wanted me to go online and required details of all my devices. Gave this tel number as the genuine BT helpline number to contact even though

Call supposedly from from Lloyds Bank saying there are irregularities on our account and asking to confirm bank details. Declined and hung up. Contacted our bank who had no knowledge of this call

Automated message threatening legal action and purporting to be from Dennis Gray at HMRC. Assume if I called back, there would be an ability to make a payment!

I received 3 calls in two weeks all hang up when I ask where they are calling from someone called lewis. I was recently in a car accident they are saying they are calling from vehicle assessment centre when I ask or name of company they always hang up when you ring back always engaged! SCAM trying to get more info about the accident and saying I will be paid an extra £1500

Answered this one by mistake..Apparently "ee" have selected me for a new handset. One of only 500 - yeah right. Unsolicited call, not welcomed and I changed my mobile contract only a month ago..so definitely a load of hogwash.

Had several missed calls then when I eventually answered they asked my name then hung up. When I attempt to call back it will not connect.

I answered without looking as I was in a rush the person constantly asked who they were speaking to when I refuse to give my name they then said they were from octopus energy I explained I had never heard of them and had no intentions of changing my energy provider I tried to end the call a number of times they kept talking and insisting they could save me money in the end I had to be rude and put the phone down
