Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. PPI company... they re probably as legit as any others but their documents are strewn with typos. I stupidly gave them a tiny bit of encouragement and now they won t leave me alone. Sometimes call from mobiles as they know people get used to the Manchester code...

Person called Jack Wells called my elderly parents and tried to sell them a plug in box to stop unwanted phone calls. He had the correct details for them and their address! He asked for all bank details, sort code, acc. number and a password. Luckily they are not that stupid!!

Called today at 16.07pm claim to be from Three trying to sell a iPhone contract I knew they were a scam caller immediately as Three don't contact this way using this number so ignore them
I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

I suffer from amnesia due to an accident I had in the last two years. The person that called me brought the horrendous memories back. My wailing due to the months I lost in hospital were too much and they hung up. I need the compensation to get some of my life back... wished they d return my calls.
