Asked me to take part in a survey/questionnaire. 4 simple questions. After very politely and considerately saying I wasn't interested they started shouting at me saying how rude I was being.

I am ex-directory, but I just had a phone call from UK Law. My advice is, if they ring you, dial 141 followed by their number, 01512219676, and make sure you have heavy metal music on full volume with your music speakers by the mouthpiece of your phone. It worked for me.
This number called me twice in San Francisco. Fortunately I wasn't there to answer.

My wife gave me a look of surprise today. We had just finished scanning a forty page service manual for a customer who wanted a printed copy posting. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.
