They have rang me several times asking about life insurance. My view is that if you have enquired previously about what they are trying to sell then fair enough. But if it us completely random then dont trust them.

Was called today by this company at 7.50am. Never heard of them. Only answered the call as I thought it was the paper shop about my delivery! Told them to ..... off! Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.

SCAM ....I got a text at 10.30pm allegedly from Gov.uk saying I was due a tax refund and to fill in my details and then see if I was really due a tax refund. I called the number back and it rang out for a while and went onto voicemail GIFFGAFF VOICEMAIL! I left a message asking when the government started using Giffgaff and not to contact me again as I would be calling the police. It is under the guise of HMRC ALERT. On checking the number here it comes up as Manchester and O2 network

Fraud, call was an automated message claiming to be from HMRC. Claimed that a fraud case was open against my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to the claims officer, then an arrest warrant would be issued immediately.
