Not with BT but caller insists I am and should claim the discount

Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.

British woman called me to tell me i have been in a accident, played along as a joke, transfered me to some indian guy, told him i d been decapitated in a major car incident to see if he was listening, he kept talking about compensation so i hung up. called me 11 times so far

This is a legit number, however these people are thieves and liars - beware sending them anything, they will destropy your phone and charge you for the privilage.

They phoned twice Fri 10/10/14. First call I answered but the line was dead i.e. Silent call. Second time I ignored in then 1471 said it was 01702 318818. Like "fed up" below when I rang it was a short message saying they were Independent Market Research then the call was cut off. Complained to FCO but they say there is nothing they can do at the moment.

I keep getting calls about renewing my boiler and solar panels. prerecorded message. They have many numbers they re just a bloody nuisance. There should be a law to stop idiots like these.
