SCAM / SPAM HMRC calling for a fraud under my name. A recorded voice says ''you HAVE to press 1'' to speak with an operator. I didn't press 1 but I assume it's scam because it's not the first time I received a call like this.

SCAM call recorded message claiming to be from internet provider.
Automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, informing of a tax fraud case and legal action. Gave absolutely no evidence. HMRC don't use automated calls for this.

It must be scam, I didnt use the link but searched everything, paypal, playstation, xbox accounts bank details and nothing. Blocked and hoping that this doesnt escalate?

When I answered the caller could be heard in the background not speaking. After around 3 secs the caller hung up. Very strange.

Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me! Lloyds Group, complaints handlers include Bank Of Scotland and Halifax. They can search surname to find out which person called you or if you are expecting a call you can you use a pin they set up with you, not your card pin, but a complaint pin.
