Hotpoint genuine caller. - I Missed a call from this number while at work. Received a very polite and informative voicemail from Hotpoint in relation to the part now being in stock for my washing machine repair and date for repair provided.

They told me they work together with UK company called Green Energy UK. I contacted Green Energy UK and in fact they do not corporate with anyone. I was offered to meet and talk about benefits of having solar panels, but I doubt I go because they were already lying to me about their corporation.

A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. A scummy telesales company. They are a legal claims company trawling for business for people whose hearing has been damaged by working in noisy environments. It appears they may have had their database supplied by "Perfect Preferences", but in any event they ignore the TPS database, and as such their cold calls are ILLEGAL.

Energy Guard cold call. Told me I had asbestos in my lost. Asked how he knew that, told me it is in his database, I asked what details he had about me and my property in his database and to treat that question as a GDPR request with 28 days to comply before I report this to the Government Information Commissioner.
