Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. When the period of time specified in a statute of limitations passes, a claim can no longer be filed" Statute barred debt refers to a debt that s not enforceable because the time a creditor has to chase payment has passed.
