This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1618143xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with accident chasers, RTA, PPI, insurance marketing - mostly robocalls, sometimes reported with "First Call Group". Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?

They called me on my mobile phone today. How the hell they got my number is a complete mystery as I have only given out my number to family, friends and hospitals.. I answered but there was no reply. I didn't give him chance to say what he wanted me to do about it - he was going to send an email. I put the phone down and checked with Amazon who confirmed no one had telephoned me from there.

Not one speaks, blocked the number and now it just goes onto voice mail where it's hung up within seconds or once there was music left on the voice mail. SCAM. There is no such thing as a Covid Pass. I nearly fell for it. The first thing they ask for is your GP’s post code. That made me take a 2nd look at it. Then they asked for my name date of birth address etc. I completed my mums Covid booster online form and it wasn’t like this so I pulled myself together and deleted everything and looked at the number which was a mobile. The NHS don’t send anything by text on a mobile number like that. Dangerous SCAM.

Fraud COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS took money of us by claiming they had details of illegal transactions relating to businesses that owe us money. It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. The Police let them get away with it as civil matter. The Courts are our only hope.
