Talk Talk are prohibited from contacting you while a transfer is going through, other than by letter. I think this is an iffy way round the rules. They don t use TT main 0800 telephone number. This number is phoning on a daily basis since 12th April. When answered, they cut the call immediately. Am ex directory and registered with TPS. Am getting to the point where I will be getting the police involved to try and stop these calls.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181485xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, unsolicited telemarketing calls... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

The caller called me in regards to my energy bills. I simply asked her for their unit price . She said she couldnt give me that information until I spent time with her on the phone. Then she said I was rude. Not a company I would want to deal with.
James Gardner from ppi claims one called saying I was due £2740. Lots of info about me, names, address, bank etc. Same as before, they wanted confirmation of the £250 paysafe cards before agreeing to deliver the cheque. Even gave me a claim reference of CB
I get calls at all hours from this number, no-one ever answers when I pick up. Have now blocked the number.
