Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. Scam, visa charge automated call

Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed. They said I'd receive a confirmation email for the new install date but I didn't so I suspect this was a fraud caller.

Call center Fraud I'm deeply suspicious about thing number - caller claimed to be offering an EE deal, but when queried on why they were contacting me this way they immediately slammed the phone down on me. Feels very fishy.

Scam pretended to be from Bristish Gas and that our bill meter reading had been mixed up with another companys Was quite convincing Have reported to telephone prefernce service and will report as a scam

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.
