Male non english accent called my landline from 07342065763 17 Jan 2023. Stated he was from Amazon security and that he had emailed me as someone had ordered a £600 phone on my account. Just received a call from this number from an articulate young man who attempted to argue with me when I questioned who he was and shouted over me rather than listening to what I was saying. It was apparently something to do with green energy and saving me money. I said I did not deal with cold callers and asked him not to ring again as he could not save me money as my energy bills are fixed but he said I did deal with cold callers as I had answered the phone! It was altogether a very unpleasant call.

Unsolicited text from this number, claiming to be from Santander, asking me to call 03300430156. A phishing attempt.
SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

Didn't pick up as an unknown number and our landline is ex-directory known only to 2 other people as it is used only for elderly relatives to call who do not have mobile phones. The fact that this number is not listed anywhere and we do not use it ourselves would tend to indicate it is a spam or pfishing call.

SCAM - I received a call from this number. On answering, was an automated message saying that two transactions including one from Amazon had been attempted on my card. One for £300 and one for over a thousand pounds. Checking my bank shows no such attempts. This is a brazen attempt at Fraud.
