I have no idea who called me. It rang once. I picked up the phone and the caller was gone. I do not know if this is nuisance call, scam or a mistake. My number and all other ones are recycled. It could be a mistake.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . Have had 4 phone calls this morning. 3 went dead when picked up. 1 was answer machine message about subscription to amazon and asked me to press 1 to cancel and 2 to discuss options. I put the phone down. Has anyone else had these calls?

I had a call from this number, but went right to the answering machine. I won ? 2500. It could be heard in the background many different voices.

Answered because it was a local number to me, but found it to just be rubbish, asking for whoever is the Sky account holder. As soon as I said it wasn t me they hung up.

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had.
