SCAM / SPAM They claimed to be looking into some fraudulent activity attached to my insurance number. When I asked if they could provide me with my insurance number, they hung up. They had a long spiel about how my insurance number had been used to hire a boat (!?) and found blood and cocaine on this boat later or something like that. Big accusations, clearly nothing to back it up.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Last phone call was today he became aggressive and nasty, resorting to bullying tactics. Hope I ve heard the last of him but I doubt it somehow. This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.
