This is updating a previous comment I made. The number is definitely Social Services but you cannot return the call to this number directly as it seems to be a main switchboard and is constantly engaged - you need to have the extension for the person who contacts you. If you don t have an answerphone then you will have to answer the call to find out who exactly is calling and for what reason.

This number called me claiming to be from BT, it seemed dubious .

Very aggressive and rude calls. Start off nice but then deteriorate if you do not give them the personal information they want.Selling insurance I think.. They are persistent and have been ringing on and off for several months, at least weekly but usually more frequent.

Hard to understand as the man had a very thick Indian accent, was calling from the fraud investigation department of ? On balance of probability i felt it was a scam call.

Spam, claim to be from Ministry of Justice... PPI scam etc etc... called them back and said Alah was a child molester and I got and earful of abuse, they're probably trying...

Sick to death of these people, no matter what you say to them they never listen. Hotpoint genuine caller. - I Missed a call from this number while at work. Received a very polite and informative voicemail from Hotpoint in relation to the part now being in stock for my washing machine repair and date for repair provided.

I purchased gifts for Christmas and they want feed back. The gifts did arrive promptly and nicely packaged, no fault there. But I can t give feedback until the recipients say whether they are pleased or not!

This was definitely a call from a scammer. These use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION to these callers or confirm you...

They are OK. They were just ringing back with a quote for kerosene.
