I have asked to be removed from their database every time they call (sometimes 4 times a day) but to no avail. I have also called them back and the message says that due to a technical failure they are unable to answer my call but if I would like to be removed I could call 0161 360 0000 which i did. He has called me twice in the past two days. He said I am owed ?2,000 in PPI. He then asked me to confirm my age, address, name etc. I didn t want to give out my details to him and he said I would receive some documentation in the post from my bank. After refusing to give him my details, he ended the call. A piece of advice- give these scammers fake details (play them at their own game) and lead them up the garden path.

I never answer any call on my mobile unless the number is in my phone book. Nor do I answer landline calls - if people need to get hold of you they will leave a message, a name and a number.
