I phoned this number back as it looked similar to a friends number and they had called twice, only to be greeted by a voicemail about some marketing campaign from what sounded like someone on helium or possibly a 5 year old child!! Definitely block this number!

They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.
