Having called previously, from three similar numbers, 07500444549, 07500444157 and 07500444080 to try to gain access to my computer, they tried this one, Scammers!!!

Exactly the same. An early morning call, no speech (but there seemed to be some movement and activity in the background) then they hung up. Spooky!

This company just does not get it!!!! Huddersfield double glazing company. Ring regularly, male caller local accent trying to sell me double glazing.No matter how many times I inform them, that I wish no further contact with them.They continue to make these pointless and annoying calls!!!!! Ho Hum

Asian lady called at 8.45pm. Claimed to be from Lloyds Bank asked for Steven Smith (not a name known to us and generic enough to be false). Tried to obtain additional personal info.

The caller spoke to my wife and when challenged actually swore at my wife using a f word

Fraudulent call centre(could hear this in the background) saying I had been victim of a fraud on my Amazon account which had had £1200 charged go the credit card linked to the account. Wanted me to push 1 or 2 etc to deal with the issue. I hung up but someone else may be duped by this type of con. Very angry that they can do this all the time.

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. EE, who is my mobile provider said they could not refund me the charges as they were from a 3rd party for services such as an entry in a prize draw, or a game download, which apparently I had requested, and as such they could not refund the charge. Another pest, line went dead when I picked up the phone. This is an unwanted intrusion and should be made illegal. Wouldn t be surprised if it s an autodialler looking for live numbers, then they sell the number on.
