SCAM from call centre, spoofed number? Claims to be BT security. Claims internet IP address has been compromised and is being used for illegal activities. I told him I'd have to stop down loading all the porn and he said "F*** you!" and hung up to the sound of me and my beloved laughing our heads off. Deadly, loose your cool and the game's up.
keeps calling me saying to call them back Carot dont know of them but you cant block number as they still get through
They had called me on about 6 previous occasions before i answered. Said they were from BT and E and had taken over EE who were my service provider and could offer me discounted calls . I asked if they were already my service provider why weren't they discounting me anyway. They then got round to asking me if I used a landline for making business calls. Not clear what the purpose of the call was and have blocked them.

I told him a few truths in dirty english and hung up. had these calls for more than 5 years though not from a "local" number before. I remember once talking to a friend in usa on skype and he got a phone call ~ he asked me to wait a minute and I heard him in the background ... "what my computer is calling you for help?" SCAM - pretends to be family member whose phone has been damaged. They then say urgent bill needs paying but cant pay via temporary phone so can you pay and they will pay you back tomorrow. I went along with it and they gave bank details which I didn't screenshot fast enough as I was angry but police would love to receive them if anyone gets them. When I exposed them as liars they gave my name and address with the threat of being round in 5 minutes!!!! Reported to police and action fraud.
