IT’S EASY TO STOP THESE CALLS!!! Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back

Automated voice from Bank Security claiming my card had been used to make large payments. A scam!

A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). Told him I had not made a claim. The man then said that maybe my vehicle had been damaged by a third party possibly in a car park by someone banging their car door into my parked vehicle. I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks.
