Automated call that claims to be confirming an "Amazon Prime" renweal for £79.99, and instructs you to "Press1" if you wish to question or cancel. Just hung up, Obviously a scam call where "pressing 1" would likely connect to premium rate scam line.

Didn t get calls like this till I bought a new fone at Vodafone shop in leamington spa about 8 weeks ago ,keeping my number and sim card.Now calls about 4 a day. Think the salesman sells info on.

Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim. I told them ( after a fair few discussions) that I simply had no claim to make whatsoever. When I was put through to a "Senior Claims Manager" I told him the same. Cold calls from discount insurance. Told the caller to remove my number from their database and that i?m registered with tps. No further calls ?til now - looks like it worked...

Possible Scam

Said he was from windows HQ and my computer was about to crash. He told me to press windows key and the "r" key and follow instructions. If I did not accept the help he was offering Windows would not be responsible for the damage done to my computer.

08443373025 called this morning but left no message. I have been having lots of these types of calls for a long time. Yesterday a local number phoned 10 times I finally answered and it was a company who will recoup money from you if u were miss sold a bank account.
