Received a text from this mobile number claiming to be First Direct Bank, with a link. Apparently my account has been suspended, tap link to verify activity. I am not with First Direct and why would a bank be texting anybody? These texts with links are designed to trick us into installing scamming software on our phones. Please do not tap on these links. Go to your bank through the normal method to check.

Constantly calling and different times of day on my mobile. Now installed Truecall app which blocks them the instant they call, along with a huge list of other annoying companies.
SCAM / SPAM Nasty call reportedly from HMRC saying there is a tax fraud case against you and to 'press 1' immediately or 'you will be arrested shortly'. Nasty. Hang up straight away.

It was about a motor accident (as usual) - and when I said I said I hadn t had one, the caller said it could have been another type of motor accident. another annoying call from number I don t recognise, so I don t answer. I get at least 3 calls per day from numbers I don t know. I have a way of blocking these calls, ( which I have had to pay for)but as soon as I do that, another one pops up. I would be very happy to know that "somebody" out there is working to deal with this.I know from reading comments and talking to friends that just about everyone is affected, and that I m not the only person to be maddened by these calls.

SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.

And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Your internet and phone line are fine...there isn t a problem with it at all. It s just these thieving bastatds trying to relieve you of your cash...they get abusive when challenged..
