Rang me today and said they were the "Vault". I asked them what they wanted and she starts immediately to ask me about my life insurance provisions. Do these idiots actually think that anyone would give personal and financial information to a company they know nothing about? Told them to clear off.

The polite man with a Middlesbrough accent said my name was on the database and that it was possible that I was due money back from finance or credit in the past 10 years. Knowing that I have never had any insurance or anything connected to loans etc, I knew he was just fishing - so suggested this and he put the phone down. How he got my number is a mystery

This number called my Portuguese phone number asking to confirm if I was Carmo Silva, insisted with it which I confirmed, and hung up after it without telling me why the call and how he obtained my number. The man said he was Miguel and was calling from Global something ... is this a Scam or fraud??! Thanks.

I believe to be some sort of marketing company.

I got the cow with a nice long blast of my attack alarm. She lasted 22 seconds before she hung up.

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. Called me today. Ignored it. I am also a TalkTalk customer.

Was called by this number on Tuesday, 17 July at 11.43 hrs. Female caller hung up when I answered. My location - Greenock, Scotland.

Caller claimed to know I had an accident (which I have not) and offered to process an insurance claim.

Rest easy, it seems to be the cavity wall insulation scam, according to the majority of reports on other sites.

Told me about HMRC chasing me - rubbish. Scam. Hung up

This is a group of scammers pretending to be a web company. Would you trust people who (A) are registered abroad but setup a UK number to get your money and (B) cold call as they clearly haven t got a service anyone would want to purchase by any other means. Use your brain ... BLOCK them!

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Re dial gets unnamed messaging service. Had this number all week, very annoying as no one there!

Silent call - just goes dead. I am getting a number of these calls from London numbers - I never speak first so obviously aren't activating the voice activated scam.

Tells me to press 5 to claim money owed and 9 to opt out

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

“This number just called me . When I answered , the line was silent and then the caller hung up after about 15 seconds.”

Calls repeatedly, no speech then hangs up after a few seconds. Looks like a local number, but starts with a 4 not a 6, so very suspicious.
