My husband had a text last night thanking him for his order and to follow link ..deleted it as he hadn t ordered anything. Not too sure how they got his number as he doesnt do internet etc.
SCAM says problem with my computer. Scamming as i don't have a computer.
SCAM / SPAM I was called and asked if I was interested in online stocks. When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. This is a fake company called MPV Alterations Ltd. They don't exist and they are selling cars on ebay, other places and they have a website. They're a scam company. They don't have cars and they want your payment in full before purchase. Do not use and avoid otherwise you will lose your money. The company does not exist and the address does not exist.

Informing me I d had a car accident. I do not drive. Advised them I have never had a car accident. Unsurprisingly they immediately put the phone down when I informed them I work with RTA claims in a legitimate law firm. Called herself Amanda Smith. Do not be duped, it is illegal for law firms to approach potential clients in this way. Any company that does is not reputable.

Scam pretending to be virgin media from a noisy call center, played along with them, told md WiFi was being used by five other people for criminal offences ????, when I asked then to confirm my virgin media customer number, they asked me to run a command in Windows, the number they had did match mine on screen by the command was just one to show what programs will open a file when you double click, after that I challenged them and they hung up

I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.

It was a computer generated message pertaining to be from Ofcom advising our Internet will be disconnected due to hacking like behaviour, we should contact BT to discuss. Neither our phone nor Internet is provided through BT!
