My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Rang me today (09/11/2016) got no reply when I picked up, then call ended with dial tone.

Rang telling me that I had had a bump on the road and would I like to claim for this. When I said I hadn t had a crash they said Oh, our records state you have, could we be confusing you with someone else in your household? - to which the answer was again no. When I asked her to remove my number she hung up on me.

Knew I had solar panels. Trying to sell battery storage system. No TPS check.

How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

I called the number back and it gives you the option to remove your number from their calling list. Does not actually say who they are though.

Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. Have threatened to call police if they continue with suspicious calls. I was getting quite upset with the hang ups. Have no idea why they keep calling and not identifying themselves. Idiots
