Cold caller saying that I’ve been involved in a car accident

I answered on their third call. Liam tried to be my friend, then wanted to know if I was insured. I thanked him for his concern, and told him the conversation was over. Then hung up.

I have received a few call from this number unfortunatelly I have not manage to answer any of them. But when I try to ring back there is no answer. Dodgy!!!!!!!

Constant aggressive marketiing. I put the call on speaker then tell them to hold on. wait for them to hang up, it will cost them money and they will get fed up eventually.

This number called and just hung up when my husband wasn't here. Very rude. I rang back only to discover this is not a valid telephone number.

Called and asked for my husband. I said not available. The very well spoken gentleman asked to leave his number. I asked what it was regarding and he said the estate of *****. I was instantly suspicious as I had not heard of the company in relation to the estate. So I said I hadn t heard of them, he said because we have been speaking to ******. I said no you haven t I don t know you and hung up. Total scan husband fuming!

Repeated calls asking to speak with Mr Cross, or Professor Cross. Nothing to do with me.

Just had a call from this number saying they are the chamber of commerce - don't think so.

Just called my mobile again.I dont answer unknown calls. I never put my mobile number on any web sites .If i have to put a mobile number i can remember my first mobile number and use thats instead>I think EE has sold my number as they are the only people who know it apart from friends .

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. Best advice is ignore the calls and just hang up as they often chase someone that hasn t been around for a long time. BUT if it is your debt remember they can be

The caller "david", told me I had been involved in a car accident a month ago (which I have not) he proceeded to tell me I was wrong. At this point I cut him off and told him this was not possible and hung up.
