I received a call from this number claiming to be calling from a company (don t remember the name of the company) and is calling in relation to an enquiry that I had made online and asked me to confirm DOB and my address for security purposes. This is a number used for scam claiming to be Amazon.
Claimed to be from a Housing Repair Organisation about the building defects that I had reported. Totally untrue. 100% scam caller.
They rang then hung up I left the line open for 10minutes before call was cancelled.
Called 12:20 20-dec-2018. Apparently looking to review my life insurance on behalf of Legal & General. When I pointed out that I hadn t had life insurance with them for over 20 years she said it must be my wife then! I hung up on her at that point.

PRA Group. Call consistently. However they always ask you to confirm your details which Im not prepared to do. They need to be open and introduce themselves. Otherwise block them. Take there number and call them bk. At least you are in control of the situation and able to discuss things. Knowing that they are who they say they are. Never give your details out.
