This is a spam call from people purporting to be from BT Openreach advising there is a problem with my broadband connection. This is the fourth call I've had in a fortnight, all from different numbers, all callers with strong Asian accent and totally unable to deviate from the script they have in front of them. On asking for a number to call back to verify they are from BT, they will spout a 32 digit "verification code" and threaten to cut off your internet if you don't proceed with the
unsolicited scam payday loan text messages.

It must be scam, I didnt use the link but searched everything, paypal, playstation, xbox accounts bank details and nothing. Blocked and hoping that this doesnt escalate?

They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name

Rang my landline today and an automated message said that our phone would be cut off in 24 hours. As we pay by direct debit every month, it cannot be true. It said we should push 1 for BT or 2 for any other supplier. We think it was that scam where they try to get bank details. it rang back twice within ten minutes. We didnt answer either call.

Call came approx. 3 hours after one from 01247 896583 which research suggested SCAM was from people purporting to be from BT.01495 No was a pattern so I picked up and blew my trusted whistle down the phone. Magic! They won t ring again.
Missed calls from this number over past few days. Never leave a message.
Fraud Message left claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying my account had been wrongly deducted by £79.99 instead of £7.99 and to press a number to sort this out. This is clearly potentially fraudulent as Amazon do not call out of the blue like that with a recorded message
