At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

They have rang me several times asking about life insurance. My view is that if you have enquired previously about what they are trying to sell then fair enough. But if it us completely random then dont trust them.

Leaves an answerphone message which has been cut to give only the last word which sounds like scientist , then ask me to ring their number if I don t want to receive any more calls. Has called several times.

This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.
