SCAM caller. claiming illegal activity on my lap top or I phone Scammer tried to get me to open google team viewer I told him I had ultra viewer and was not going to open up my system , at this point the scammer told me I was wasting his time . I told him he was calling me not me calling him . to which he got abusive and I hung up the phone.
SCAM - claiming to be from a phone blocking service. Wanted my debit card expiry date. Already had some personal information (out of date thankfully but I didn't tell them that!)
Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. We always let numbers like this go to answerphone. They always hang-up without a message. Calling several times a day at present - at least they don t hide the phone number. At least they could state their name and purpose, you say it is TalkTalk Marketing. I decide if I want to buy anything and try to avoid these types of call.
