Appears to be a scam. Automated ringer claimed to be inland revenue and threatened legal action.

Called and left no message.

This number just rang me. It went to answerphone with no messgae left!

The caller called no company name and required a man unknown to me. I told her that she would have been there probably dialed the wrong number and she said no, that is in my way on the list. I meant that their list is wrong then and hung up. Since then try it again and again.

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. I have told them several times now over five days that this is already sorted and I am now still receiving phone calls. Called by Jack Wilson & told I ve not responded to computer warning alerts and troubleshooting. Please sit in front of my computer and it ll take 5 minutes to sort it out. I asked for his name and the company, he rushed in to telling me I have a problem . I ve not turned my PC on this morning. He didn t say what kind of operating system has a problem ie PC or Mac. All too pushy on the phone. The telephone number is not a central London, Hanover Square number. I don t trust it.
