SCAM Message/text sent to my smartphone, contents of text was a Halifax Alert saying I had created a new payee today 28/01 at 12.05pm.If you do not recognise this visit go to a site using the link supplied which was https newpayeealert.live DON'T OPEN LINK Dangerous SCAM, they want access to your account. Must use auto trawlers to get mobile phone numbers and hope some number they text the user has a Halifax account, probably use other Bank and Building Society names.

SCAM Got a WhatsApp message from this number that just said 'Hello'. Did not recognise the number in my list of contacts or the image for the WhatsApp chat. As such, I suspect this is probably some strange scamming situation and I blocked their number.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.

Scammers.. A recording saying that your national insurance number has been compromised. I keep getting calls on my work mobile which I only ever use for work and it is in no way linked to me personally. Definitely a scam, as I have read about people getting these calls. Be wary!

I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.
