It s quite easy to negate these types of calls by getting yourself a Call Line Identity phone. If the call doesn t display the name of someone in your tel address book, or shows number withheld, or out of area, or International let the answer machine do the work. You can then block the number or use phone settings to set your preferences - problem solved...

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. Offered option of pressing number for details or to be removed. I hung up.

Rings for about 10 secs several times per day. Stops before you have chance to pick up your handset. Thought this type of call was one illegal. When are the Watchdogs going to fine these F. Answered this call. It hung up then started ringing. Hung up before connection. Suspect fraud number.

I have been spammed with calls from this company. I had 4 calls in the space of 2 hours while I was in a meeting at work. I finally picked up and told them I m not remotely interested in reviewing my pensions as they are handled through my company and to remove me from their database. They persisted in being very pushy and I hung up. 30 minutes later I received another call from the number and I blocked it.

Long delay when I answered. I put the phone down. They didn t call back.

Called three times today. Rang off twice and third time asked for someone who moved away from this address 9 years ago. When I said she didn t live here, he rang off again. Very annoying.
