A woman claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse asked for my phone company. She refused to answer the question of whether or not the process would cost money, so it's a potential scam. An annoying call for sure, as she kept on asking for my phone company.

Unsurprisingly they immediately put the phone down when I informed them I work with RTA claims in a legitimate law firm. Called herself Amanda Smith. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be.
