I have no idea who this is, it s only because my latest phone bill has come in & this number has cost me ?1.63. I never dial 0871 numbers so this must ve been one that I answered & have been charged for! Since I have no business in India, this must be a scam call!!

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. Automated call from United Utilities with update to problem affecting the local water supply. Useful call and not unwanted marketing.

Whoever these people are they are persistent- 9 calls in the last couple of weeks!

Called by Jack Wilson & told I ve not responded to computer warning alerts and troubleshooting. Please sit in front of my computer and it ll take 5 minutes to sort it out. I asked for his name and the company, he rushed in to telling me I have a problem . I ve not turned my PC on this morning. He didn t say what kind of operating system has a problem ie PC or Mac. All too pushy on the phone. The telephone number is not a central London, Hanover Square number. I don t trust it.

On some phones you can block the numbers, I have an iPhone 5s and it s very handy being able to block these pests. Iv had 30+ calls from different numbers the past few weeks too! of which I just keep blocking. Iv answers a few times and one guy was so nasty after I politely asked him to stop calling.. He was unbelievably rude and threatening!
